Abby Van Eman
LPC-MHSP (Temp); Licensed Professional Counselor

I am a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. My background in education and special education informs my work, especially when supporting neurodivergent clients, those facing life transitions, and couples working to strengthen their relationships.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based techniques. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful change.
I graduated with my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas State University. I have trained at Heights Family Counseling in Houston and Nashville Collaborative Counseling. I also hold certifications in Gottman Level 1, ADHD and Executive Functioning, and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT).
