As a therapist, Gilda champions her clients to meet their goals and is passionate about working with clients who experience trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and marital/relationship issues.

Approach to Counseling:
Gilda implements an eclectic attachment-based counseling approach to better adapt to her client’s needs. She draws from Somatic Psychology, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Strength-Based therapy models. Gilda is trained in S.A.F.E. EMDR, EMDR for Couples, Brainspotting Levels 1, 2, & 3, and the Prepare/Enrich premarital program.
