LPC-MHSP, M.ED.; Licensed Professional Counselor

KKB Headshot.JPEG

Kristin Keiper-Berneman, or “Ms. K-B,” works with children (pre-kindergarten and up) and their parents. Drawing from positive psychology and solution-focused therapy, Kristin provides
practical guidance that helps families succeed across multiple environments - from the classroom to the soccer field to the grocery store and through bedtime.

She combines years of experience as a counselor at a high-achieving elementary school with her own learning as a parent. Kristin recognizes that while we often expect parenting to come naturally, the reality is that many of the most effective parenting strategies are learnable skills
backed by research - and she's here to share them.

Kristin specializes in working with children experiencing anxiety, those on the autism spectrum, children with ADHD and dyslexia, children from adoptive backgrounds, and those experiencing
grief and loss. Her approach emphasizes strategies that work in real life - not just in the therapy room. Parents appreciate her practical tools, clear guidance, and understanding of what it takes
to help children thrive - at home, at school, and everywhere in between.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. She's active in her community as a Girl Scout troop leader and First Grade Sunday School teacher.

Kristin is also the founder of Good Grieve Nashville, where she provides grief literacy education and consultation to families, schools, and organizations navigating loss."
